MESSAGE FROM THE OWNER
Hello Families of Kalamazoo!
You don't need me to tell you how exhausting and frustrating this year has been - we're all living in it right?! Luckily, I'm not here to tell you about our struggle, I'm here to tell you about our strategy. We really, really wanted to open for our Winter Preview Grand Opening. There have been so many unanswered questions and what-ifs, so many long conversations and sleepless nights, but in the end, it all comes down to one objective truth: There is nothing more important than the safety of your child. We can sit here and be sad and frustrated all we want, but at the end of the day, we'll choose your child's safety over everything else every single time.
With this core value in mind, we've made the decision to pivot now and create the most shutdown-proof and pandemic-proof plan that we could come up with. Our goal with this plan is to open our gym to you in the absolute safest way possible so you and your family can get some exercise, learn some new skills, and share in the joy of what we've created for you. A happy coincidence is that we will get to know you and your families as individuals and we'll be able to devote so much more attention to each child's unique needs and goals. The measures we are taking at the time of writing this are stricter than the current mandated requirements - our goal with this is to open and remain open with a consistent structure rather than having to shift on a regular basis. Change is hard - let's try to do it as little as possible!
So here's the plan! KZ Elite will be offering three private session options for gymnasts and aspiring gymnasts: Under 5s, Recreational, and Competitive. The details of each of these options are below and I encourage you to read on and reach out to me if you have any questions. No other gymnastics club has ever operated a schedule like this so keep in mind that there could be bumps along the way and hopefully we can have a more normal schedule in the near future. So please talk to us, ask us questions, be patient with us - we're all in this together - just not all at once.
I hope to see all of you, one at a time, very very soon.
